Sources of the photographic material

Photo archive of the Nyon International Film Festival, archive of the Locarno Film Festival and Oskar von dem Hagen, the archive of the Berlin International Film Festival and foremost Erika Rabau and Roland Simoneit, the official photographer of the town-hall of Berlin and Wieland Speck for the award ceremony in 2000, Virginia Leirens for the portraits she made in 1972 in Knokke-le-Zoute, the archive of the Venice Biennale and particularly Angelo Quarti and the many press photographers he coordinated in 2003 anf the archive of the New Montréal Film Festival 2005. Many photos are also by Moritz de Hadeln or come from his personal family archive. The Alexandra de Hadeln-Balaceano sculptures were partly photographed in Florence by Locchi.
